OCIA: Order of Christian Initiation for Adults
(Scroll down to register online.)

OCIA (formerly RCIA) is an all-encompassing program of intellectual, spiritual, and human formation for all adults including:

-
non-Catholics discerning their calling to join the Catholic Church
-
Catholics seeking to complete their initiation into the Catholic Church
-
Catholics seeking to increase their understanding of the faith at an adult level

Our study will make use of Symbolon: The Catholic Faith Explained, to provide a systematic presentation of our Catholic Faith.

Classes meet every Tuesday evening in the St. Thomas Parish Center, beginning in September and continuing until right before Easter. Candidates for reception into the Catholic Church or completing their initiation will receive their sacraments at the Easter Vigil.
Symbolon: The Catholic Faith Explained

Symbolon will leads viewers through the "big picture" of the Catholic Faith and our Creed is the guide. Symbolon brings together some of the most trusted Catholic teachers in the world to guide you through the breadth and richness of the Catholic faith.

Symbolon has a separate program designed for teens.

Both programs are available free to parishioners as part of our Formed subscription.

Symbolon is also available in Spanish and Portuguese languages.
